THE REATIL BOUTIQUE + SPA
We opened our first retail boutique and soon-to-be facial spa located on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile at 520 N Michigan Avenue.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The KOKOBÉRNA Aesthetician is an experienced, dynamic individual who possesses a real passion for healthy, glowing skin and takes pride in delivering world-class therapeutic hydrating facial treatments using our handcrafted organic products.
We sell premium products of the highest quality; therefore, our customers deserve a premium and loving experience. Our responsibility, and challenge as we grow the brand, is to make sure every person we interact with experiences this and feels our total commitment to their overall well-being. Your job is to make sure every customer feels understood, appreciated, and loved. You are their hero, and our hero, you are the face and voice of our beautiful business.
More specifically, here are some (but certainly not all) of the responsibilities for this role:
You will solve any issues that arise for customers.
You will manage customer inquiries in our central inbox.
You will ensure every customer feels heard by getting them a quick response to any questions they have.
You will pick up the phone or jump on a scheduled Zoom consult and talk to customers.
You will listen to them and let them know you care. You will laugh with them. You will cry with them. They will love you, and you them.
You will work closely with the founder and, as the team grows, keep the rest of the team informed about the general mood and feedback from customers.
You will constantly be asking yourself, “how can we make this better for our customers?”
You will make recommendations for ways to improve the customer experience, and you will implement many of them.
Analyze, consult, and perform 25-, 50-, and 70-minute corrective facial skincare services in a comfortable setting and in a professional manner
Uphold the fundamentals of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and spa protocols
Perform prep work and meticulously clean and restock the facial spa as required
Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of both the spa and the boutique
Properly care for all equipment, maintain outstanding store condition, and visual merchandizing standards by supporting daily cleaning as well as maintaining testers throughout the store
Understand ingredients and their efficacy as well as keeping up with industry knowledge
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training customers in these areas
Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or customers that require attention
Actively promote the spa treatments and retail, as well as home care activations
Independently drive outreach with customers
Perform other duties as assigned
Associates Degree or High School Diploma
Valid Illinois Esthetics State License
2+ years working as an Aesthetician
Dually licensed in Massage or Master Reiki Certificate is a plus
Must be able to sit or stand for up to 10 hours
Must be able to kneel, bend, crouch as required
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
Must be able to pull, lift, carry at least 20 pounds
Work in an aromatherapeutic retail environment
Use hands, fingers, and arms to administrate facial treatments
Fast -paced movements are required to go from spa area to boutique
