YOUR SKIN TYPE RESULTS: ORNT
Oily, Resistant, Non-Pigmented Skin Tone, Tight-Compact Skin
“My main concern is oiliness. Do I need a moisturizer? How do I find a sunscreen that does not make me shiny? What tips do you have to reduce that midday shine?”
ABOUT YOUR SKIN
Flawless, even toned, radiant, ageless.
You won the Skin Type lottery—although you probably never knew there was one. You rarely think about your skin. It’s easy to care for, plus it always looks great. You don’t understand all the fuss about skin care. You wouldn’t dream of springing big bucks for procedures or surgery. Frankly, I’m surprised and flattered that you took the skin care quiz. Why? Because you have one of the easiest Skin Types to care for, age in, and live with overall. In you, lucky genes and good skin care habits combine to create age-defying skin. Your oily, tight skin protects you from the visible signs of aging while your skin cells produce color without any tendency to develop dark spots after trauma or inflammation. If you have a light skin tone, you may have some trouble tanning, but so what? Having youthful skin throughout your life is a good trade-off for the temporary thrill of a tan, especially when you consider that tanning promotes aging. Unlike sensitive or dry Skin Types, your Skin Type does not get acne, redness, dark spots, or dryness.
EVERYDAY CARE FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE
Your current skin care routine focuses on addressing skin oiliness with products that deliver oil-absorbing ingredients or contain ingredients that will to a certain extent decrease oil production. Unfortunately, not many products are able to permanently and totally decrease your skin’s production of oil. This makes ongoing control essential. Your daily regimen will also treat and prevent pore enlargement, treat and prevent blackheads, and prevent occasional acne breakouts.
First, look over the regimen and then you can choose the products you’ll need from those I recommend below. If after using this regimen for two months, you still have trouble with occasional acne, you may wish to consult a dermatologist, who can prescribe retinoids.
Since your Skin Type is the easiest to care for, I’ve built a one-stage regimen geared toward decreasing oil production to help treat and prevent your infrequent acne breakouts as well as minimizing enlarged pores. The products you’ll use will soak up excess oil and decrease facial shine.
Whatever combination of good genes and good skin care gave you your youthful line-free skin, help out nature and prevent skin cancer through good skin care and avoiding excess sun exposure.
*Resistant skin has a healthy solid barrier. Your skin rarely stings, reddens, or develops acne allowing those with resistant skin to use most products without reacting. However, the irony is that most over-the-counter skin care products may not be potent enough to penetrate the healthy lipid barrier and deliver results. This is why KOKOBÉRNA customers see instant results; the ancient formulating techniques we use preserve the life-force of the indigenous West African plant ingredients in their purest yet concentrated form.
